This May, Eye Etiquette Optical Boutique celebrates its 17th anniversary in Langford! Not only is Eye Etiquette celebrating our anniversary, but we’re also toasting Dr. Gurpreet Leekha winning the Optometrist of the Year award from the BC Doctors of Optometry!
Seventeen years ago, a licensed optician, Carolin Roussel, started Eye Etiquette Optical Boutique in the West Shore’s Millstream Village. After being an optician for 12 years, Carolin felt it was time to have a downtown Victoria frame selection available in the West Shore. Eye Etiquette was one of Langford’s Millstream Village’s first shops and started while the village was still under construction.
Dr. Gurpreet Leekha joined forces with Eye Etiquette in 2011. Here’s how he remembers discovering Eye Etiquette:
“I first heard about Eye Etiquette from my wife, who loved the style and frame selection. After meeting and working with Carolin for a few months, I knew it would be a great fit. I loved that she valued our customers’ eye health as much as I do and that she was an expert optician and seasoned veteran who knew how to style and fit frames and provide our patients with optimal vision. I enjoy working with her as much as her customers love seeing her!”
In 2020, Eye Etiquette opened its second location in Belmont Market and is thrilled to include Dr. Vidhi Bhatt, Dr. Mark Paquette, Dr. Sarah Barber, and Dr. Gurpreet Leekha as their team of optometrists at both locations. BC Doctors of Optometry voted Dr. Gurpreet Leekha the optometrist of the year for 2023. Thank you for 17 years of trusting us with your eye care. A big thank you for all the amazing referrals. Whether in person or online, it always makes our day when someone comes in and tells us their good friend recommended us. We look forward to continuing to see you for many years to come.
